Egypt/Lebanon Montage

In the summer of 2009 Modaress traveled to Egypt & Lebanon to produce a series of short documentaries. In Egypt she spent most of her time in and around the capital Cairo. During her stay in Lebanon she traveled extensively filming in downtown Beirut, The Sabra & Shatila refugee camps and the southern parts of the country, which were still heavily effected by the 2006 war with Israel.

Haiti Earthquake Aftermath

Immediately after the devastating earthquake hit Haiti in Jan. 2010 Modaress traveled to the region to cover the catastrophic event for SKY satellite channel 515 Presstv. In Haiti she interviewed the country’s President, Rene Preval, Lt. Gen. Ken Keen along with other high ranking US military officials & spent weeks among those effected in makeshift camps & hospitals.
